People with the highest omega 3 levels have the lowest risk of dying from heart disease. 1,000 mg a day is recommended for healthy people, with higher dosage recommended for people with heart problems. Check with your doctor. Salmon and other cold water fish are good sources of omega 3 fatty acids. If taking a supplement omega 3, 6, 9 gel caps are best.

•A compound in black licorice has been shown to spike blood pressure. Not true of red licorice.

•Diuretic drugs are the most effective at reducing blood pressure. Some natural diuretics are cranberry juice, apple cider vinegar, beets, cabbage, and foods with high water content such as watermelon and cucumbers. A bonus is that natural diuretics have many other benefits and no side effects like drugs.

•Heavy drinking increases your body’s sensitivity to salt, which in turn leads to elevated blood pressure.

It's been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish - all before making a human. He made and provided what we'd need before we were born.

These are best & more powerful when eaten raw.  We're such slow learners. God left us great clues as to what foods help what part of our body!

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye - and science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums.  Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this?  It takes exactly nine (9)  mont hs to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries.

Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body

Potassium is an essential mineral with many important roles in the body. Potassium helps maintain the proper alkaline balance of the body for healthy functioning. Disease cannot exist in an alkaline environment.

Potassium helps regulate cardiovascular heath and is used to treat high blood pressure. It is the body’s salt and fluid regulator, pulling excess salt out of the blood

It is necessary for good muscle contraction, high speed neural transmissions and also attracts oxygen to cells. Potassium supplementation is also used to treat diabetes.

•It is found in bananas, potatoes, yams, raisins, soybeans, apricots, figs, nuts and seeds.

SNORING CAN CAUSE HYPERTENSION

Light snoring is common and not a cause for concern unless it happens nightly. When the snoring is loud and occurs regularly, there is cause for concern. Besides aggravating anyone who hears the snoring, chemicals normally released to control breathing get interrupted. Smoking, drinking alcohol or consuming large meals at night can contribute to the snoring problem.

If the person develops sleep apnea, the problem is compounded. Sleep apnea is one of the most common forms of sleep disorders. Sufferers actually stop or “pause” their breathing when sleeping, up to two or three breaths. When the person eventually does take a breath, a loud snore is heard.

This leads to oxygen levels dropping severely and adrenaline and other hormones being released. It is these hormones which can lead to hypertension. Left untreated, high blood pressure can cause heart attack, stroke, kidney failure and even blindness.

If it continues to be a problem, please see a health professional. Dropping weight will often reverse the snoring, allowing free air passages. Adequate medical attention is needed to guide you in dealing with the snoring problem.
